Jungle Scout, the new piece of track from end of Waiu Street to Jungle Gym is now open for riding!
This piece of trail was designed to divert cycle traffic away from the bowl area to keep user conflict to a minimum and improve safety.
The trail is rated by the WTP volunteers as a grade 2 trail. It features some nice up and downs, with small sections of roots across the trail. Plans are in place to create another trail in order to make a loop for beginner riders looking for something interesting and fun.
Take a look at the map if you are unsure where this trail is. It is the piece of trail that passes above the bowl and allows you to continue on up Jungle Gym trail.
